Crisis Response, Support & Advocacy Long Term
Healing & Recovery

Supporting women, children and families/whanau in the  Christchurch & Canterbury community since 1986

At West Christchurch Womens Refuge, we offer three very different ways to support you with our wraparound service and support programmes

We provide crisis support services, including access to our safe house, as appropriate to need and assessment.

We run workshops on how to identify a controlling or abusive relationship.

Our Whanau Resilience Service includes a a specialist programme that supports recovery after leaving an abusive relationship and is designed to regain confidence, trust and self-worth.
